The Royal Scottish Academy School of Drama is 60 years young! Fast forward through six decades and you soon see that the RSAMD’s School of Drama has continued to develop hugely successful actors such as David Tennant, James McAvoy, Daniela Nardini, Maureen Beattie, Colin Morgan, Phyllis Logan, Bill Paterson, Elaine C Smith, Alan Cumming, David Hayman, Ruby Wax, Robert Carlyle, Emma Fielding, John Hannah, Greg Wise … the list is long and glittering. D8 helped create the design and concept of the Drama at 60 campaign. A simple but strong use of excellent portrait photography by Kenneth Dundas can be seen all over the academy’s hometown – Glasgow. Positioned in sites of 3 or 4, creating an open air art gallery, these posters are being used as part of a wider awareness campaign and an introduction to months of new and exciting drama works.
