Partick Thistle

We've been working with Partick Thistle for over a year now since we created their new brand identity. The process included redesigning the badge, brand identity guidelines, strips (including the pink one), training gear, merchandising, corporate literature, stationery, match day literature and promotional materials, internal and external signage, as well as all online materials.

Commercially the rebrand has been a huge success; retail sales are up, season ticket sales are at their highest in years, programme sales are up, the club has a huge amount of media coverage and the fans are excited. They know something is happening because they can see it.

"We had not worked with design consultants before having gone along with the old fashioned view that all football fans want is 90 minutes of action and none of that fancy dan stuff about image. How wrong we were! Our supporters loved the concept of Real Scottish Football, the new look which came with it and the fact that the concept is a developing one, allowing us to continue for the future. Those of us who have been around Partick Thistle for a long time tend to cling on to old concepts - we have always done it this way, type of thing. D8 made us think differently and despite initial reluctance (due to our conservatism) we were quickly won over by their bold ideas and constant enthusiasm."
