Duke's Corner
The Duke's Corner is a live music venue/bar in Dundee and is Fuller Thomson's latest venture. The vision for the venue was to design a bar that could operate solely as a bar serving food and beer until late, but also had the ability to host live music gigs, comedy and film nights.
In terms of food and drink offer, The Duke's Corner is not dissimilar to the Holyrood Tavern in Edinburgh, with a vast selection of interesting and unusual craft beers and great quality bar food. The ambience is laid back, slightly grungy but cool and has been designed to attract both music and beer lovers alike. The space is divided into two distinct areas: a bar and a performance area. The main bar area feels like a bier halle and the performance area more moody and intimate, with a jazz/cabaret club set-up.
In addition to the interior space the venue also boasts a 100 sq.metre beer garden. The beer garden has been designed to have a carnival/festival look with mobile bar and bbq units, sail canopies, decked seating areas and planters.
