Burns Monument Centre
In March 2007, 3D8 were awarded the design contract for the Burns Monument Centre. This included developing the branding for the centre, designing a website and designing all the interior spaces within the building.
The Burns Monument Centre involved the restoration of the Burns Monument in Kay Park in Kilmarnock.
The proposed development included the development of a custom built centre offering genealogy research facilities and a marriage/conference suite.
In addition, D8 created the website the centre presenting the various different aspects of the facility in a clear, accessible manner, with scope for adding multimedia content to the site in the near future. The site is fully updatable via our in-house CMS, and integrates with an email-marketing database to enable the Burns Monument Centre to keep in touch with it's varied visitors -- from brides-to-be to local historians.
