I wonder where the word 'news' comes from. I guess it must be new or it wouldn't be relevant and therefore it wouldn't be news so it must be new s.
That just leaves the s. The cynic in me says it stands for shit but it's probably story. Wouldn't it brighten your day, though, if Huw Edwards came on the telly and said "hello, welcome to the new shit" or even better, that really serious intellectual sounding bloke that does the news on radio 4.
Magic. Anyway, here's some new shit about D8/3D8.
D8 News - RMJMagazine
Mon, 14 Jul 2008
In 2008 we were commissioned to produce a new internal magazine for international architectural practice, RMJM. With 20 offices across the world, the brief was to create a magazine that would inspire creativity internally but that could also be used to promote the services of the company externally.
The magazine was to look like a design or style magazine, with an iconic look and feel, rather than a corporate publication. It was to have a clear style that reflected RMJM’s desire to be both contemporary and contentious. The first publication was launched at Harvard Boston to coincide with RMJM’s $2million sponsorship of the Graduate School of Design with a second edition released this month.
