I wonder where the word 'news' comes from. I guess it must be new or it wouldn't be relevant and therefore it wouldn't be news so it must be new s.
That just leaves the s. The cynic in me says it stands for shit but it's probably story. Wouldn't it brighten your day, though, if Huw Edwards came on the telly and said "hello, welcome to the new shit" or even better, that really serious intellectual sounding bloke that does the news on radio 4.
Magic. Anyway, here's some new shit about D8/3D8.
D8 News - Sample Curtis Fine Papers
Wed, 11 Jul 2007
D8 have recently completed three new sample booklets for Curtis Fine Papers, Scotland’s specialist paper mill. The books showcase the company’s two eco ranges, ‘conservation’ and ‘retreeve, and the ‘classic’ range. Having used previous sample books for the past five years, D8 were asked to develop their promotional material to bring it to the forefront of the specialist paper market.
We wanted to produce an informative and easy-to-use resource to help designers source information and products as efficiently as possible. The designs were kept simple and functional for ease and speed, listing all technical information and other useful product specifications whilst keeping the design clean and minimal, showcasing papers in their simple form.
