Big Screens
D8 Digital are working with Big Screens to produce a series of new, animated idents for them. Big Screens are large LED screens in outdoor locations in busy city centres, run in partnership with the BBC, LOCOG (the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games), local councils and in some cases local universities. They are currently located in 20 cities across the UK, with more planned.
These interstitial idents will be used between items of BBC and non-BBC content. Each ident features a sequence of photography unique to the city it is being shown in, and creates a strong visual identity for all the Big Screens across the UK.
