Russell

As part of our ongoing work with Russell, one of Europe's leading providers of undecorated apparel, we have just completed their 2010 brochure.

This year's challenge was to combine the four Russell sub brands, all of which previously had their own brochure, into one complete catalogue. This step was taken as part of our ongoing review of Russell's communications strategy, making the document easier to use for the end use and to have less of an effect on the environment through using less paper. The brochure was then reproduced from English into four other language versions.

A simple but structured layout was chosen giving the brochure a feel more like that of a specifier, allowing the user to make a clear and informed choice about each product. Categorising products within each brand and clear navigation aided way-finding within the 144 page brochure, allowing users to quickly find and compare products.

A new photographic style was created that gave a more contextual feel. This enables the user to visualise the products in their own environments and to reflect how well the product will work as a uniform solution.
