D8 won a Glasgow City Marketing Bureau pitch to give the city’s Conventions Bureau a website worthy of its status as the best in the UK for the last five years running.

They wanted a new website to not only help consolidate Glasgow as the best place to hold a convention in the UK, but also grow its international reputation.

The website targets both conference organisers and delegates, and makes everything really easy with a map-based search of Glasgow venues and services, which provides extensive filters to enable visitors to find what they’re looking for fast.

Conference organisers can enjoy:

  • a venue and service search
  • a custom PDF generator of shortlisted venues and services
  • a multimedia download library to help with promoting events.

Delegates can access:

  • a list of special offers offered by various venues and services
  • information on how to get to and get around Glasgow, as well as things to do
  • a secure membership area where venues and services can update their details and add their own special offers.
