Erskine is one of Scotland’s major charities, running one of the country’s foremost care facilities for ex-Service men and women. Each year Erskine cares for over 1,350 veterans of all ages throughout Scotland, providing respite and long-term care in their five purpose-built care homes.
Erskine’s care also includes the provision of accommodation and employment opportunities through its supported transition project to veterans.
Their original website had become outdated and difficult to navigate. It didn’t provide Erskine with the flexibility they needed to add new content easily.
The new site includes several features that make it easy to donate money securely, including one-off online donations and a direct debit service for supporters to set up regular donations. The site also incorporates an online shop, selling Erskine-branded items.
The design makes the most of Erskine’s distinctive and recognisable purple colour, and presents the broad range of Erskine’s work across different age groups in a contemporary way.
