Mike Small’s been championing local, seasonal food via his Fife Diet project for a few years now, picking up loads of ethical food awards along the way. We’ve just worked with Mike on a spin-off project – Blasda, Scotland’s local food feast. You can find out all about Blasda at the website we created – there are myriad ways of getting involved and celebrating Scottish food. The Scottish Food Fortnight is an initiative of Scotland Food & Drink, which is seeking to grow the country’s food and drink industry from £10 billion to £12.5 billion by 2017.
