The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra has just launched its 2011/12 seasons in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. We love working with the SSO – being musical maestros they like to carry the values of the consummate experience they deliver across all of their marketing.

Formed in December 1935 by Scottish composer and conductor Ian Whyte, the BBC SSO is recognised as one of the UK’s leading orchestras, and the only Scottish orchestra to have won a Royal Philharmonic Society Award.

Working with photographer Mark Hamilton we art directed and delivered a suite of photography which can be used over the coming season’s marketing materials, including a large format magazine style publication with editorial content, that will add value for audiences attending their performances or listening to their broadcasts on BBC Radio 3. All the photography was shot on location throughout the three cities to help reinforce the season’s strapline of ‘Your City, Your Orchestra’.
